There are little online business models as profitable as website flipping. Most people think that it is a difficult business to get in to, but that doesn’t have to be true. Website Flipping is a business model that a lot of online marketeers have adopted. The usual approach is to build a website and then quickly sell it of (for a profit of course). Successful Internet businessmen and women who flip websites for a living claim to make a five figure monthly income. Many people are surprised at first when they hear such huge figures. Why? Because most websites are sold for less than a hundred dollars. So how can people make that kind of money with it?
Well, to begin with, professional online marketeers know how to sell their websites at a much higher price than most other people. Apart from that, they know how to build and sell websites at a very quick pace. And then the math is simple: Build and sell faster, make more money.
For instance, you start of by producing and selling one website a week. The domain name you use for it will costs you around ten dollars. You probably use a reseller hosting account, so that’s another five bucks to add to the cost. All the other stuff you need, you can get for free online. Using this, you can build a website in let’s say one hour.
So, you now have a website that cost you 15 dollars to make, plus one hour of your time. If you can sell that website for more than 15 dollars you made a profit. For instance, you sell it for 50 bucks. That’s 35 dollars in your pocket. How can you make more money? Well since it cost you one hour to make this site, you can start to make a few more and start multiplying that 35 dollars!
By the time you get used to doing this, you will also gain experience. You will start to notice which kind of websites sell for the highest price, and the quickest. Once you gather this information you can act upon it, producing the websites that are in demand.
Of course, another skill that comes with experience is speed. In the example we said that building a website costs you one hour. But if you have made ten of them, you will notice that you get the hang of it, and higher your output. That means selling more websites in the same time, and therefore more profit for you.
