How do I get a finance company to exchange a car which has gone wrong and had to be repaired a few times?
Very briefly: Car bought from Carcraft Oct 07
Back Nov for new clutch – gone to CarCraft for 2 weeks
Back for repairs again in january – o2 sensor – gone to carCraft for another week
Off the road again since beginning of Feb as has intermittant loss of power while driving, adv not to drive by finance company.
Being passed from pillar to post about who should repair the car and that we are so fed up we want a replacement car, these problems/breakdowns have left us out of pocket by about £350 so far. We are now being told that it is out of the Carcraft warrantly and to claim on our breakdown insurance…….we have lost a month of the Carcraft warranty with the amount of time they have had the car for repairs!
Anyone been sucessful out there with CarCraft/U Can? Give us a few tips, please!!

We have what’s called a lemon law over here. If you take the car to be repaired for the same thing at least 3 times then they must replace the car or give you your money back. Don’t know if this helps good luck, I know about broke down cars. It sucks!!!
if they have not fixed the same problem, it is the same warranty claim, and the term date does not matter. if it were mine, i would tell the finance company your not paying anymore, and to come and get the car it not fixable as to carcraft. im sure this will get some attention somewhere.
