Has Harv Eker Got Something To Teach Us?

Harv Eker has been talked about a lot lately, so you might be wondering who he is and where all this press came from. When I first ran into mentions of him, I wasn’t sure why people thought so much about him. After all, he’s just another person.

In fact, Eker’s the perfect example of someone who succeeded in attaining the American Dream. He spent his childhood in Canada, the son of immigrants from Europe, and then moved to the United States. To make ends meet, he worked may odd jobs and struggled hard.

That struggle is what gave Eker the inspiration to start up as an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, he didn’t succeed, and it took him a long time and many failed investments to figure out what he’d been doing wrong. He started thinking about how we react to money and how we treat it, and what that means in relation to our chances for success.

What he found out, and what really surprised me is that our success is actually determined by internal factors, not luck or anything outside of us. We all have our own financial blueprints, developed by exposure to our friends and family, media messages and current events. Depending on what those blueprints say, we make good or bad choices about money and every other aspect of our lives.

Fortunately, the other things that Harv Eker has to say tell us that no one has to be stuck with a bad financial blueprint. I’ll be honest – it’s hard to change your attitudes about money, and it’s pretty uncomfortable, too. People who aren’t willing to go through the whole process and deal with the loss of pride won’t want to hear what Harv Eker has to tell us.

However, if you have the determination to go through the process of changing how you think and react to the world, success may be yours. Eker’s findings are charted in his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and in his programs to help people achieve their dreams. By reading his works or attending his enthusiastic workshops, you could change how you think, and set your internal barometer toward success!

There are a lot of things you can learn from what Harv Eker has to say. He’ll tell you that we need to stop reacting from fear and envy, and start working from happiness, contentment, and the desire to seize the opportunities life offers us. Unless you believe in success, you’ll never get there, and you’ll keep letting things pass you by.

Harv Eker’s training company and books can offer us a lot, but I’m not going to blame you if you’re not sure. I’m hard to convince, too. That’s why you need to look at at everything Eker has to say, and at what he can do for all of us, and make your own decision about where your life will go.
