Automate Your Marketing
There are many marketing automation systems available to automate your online and off-line lead generation and marketing. Primarily, promotion automation systems mechanically move prospects down the sales funnel. To give you an idea of the flexibility of a marketing automation product, I have listed the following campaign that has been used effectively by different real estate agents.
1) Lead capture – A lead lands on a landing page and fills out a form.
2) When a possible client provides their contact information, they receive an email with the free report or give-away that was used to get their information. Different geo-targeting advertising systems such as AdSense can be used.
3) Now the marketing automation system sends out an automatic email that looks like it is personal and from the real estate agent. Included in the email is the agent’s contact information so the prospect can call, or if they reply to the email, it is sent directly into the real estate agent’s regular email account. Often the email will direct the prospect to view an web video.
4) The next communication is an email that follows up to ask the prospect if they have any questions about the video or presentation. The email may also ask the prospect’s communication preferences.
6) Depending on their preferences, text messages may be sent to the prospect to keep them updated.
5) As part of the product, an automated notification may go to the agent telling them to physically call the prospect.
7) A week later, and postcard is sent out detailing a property that has just been sold by you in the area. This helps to show the prospect that you have a good market presence in their neighborhood.
A few weeks later, an email newsletter is emailed to the prospect. Once again, when the email is sent, promotion automation system puts a to-do action to notify you to call the prospect and follow up.
Marketing automation systems are fantastic tools to systematically walk a prospect down the path to becoming a client.
